68th International six-day trip
The 68th international six-day race was the team world championship in enduro sport and took place from 11th to 16th October 1993 in Assen , the Netherlands, and the surrounding area. The national team of Poland won the World Trophy for the first time. The national team of the host Netherlands won the Junior World Trophy for the first time.

The event took place in Assen for the second time after the 59th International Six-Day Race (1984) was held here.
494 drivers from 23 FIM motorsport associations were registered for the competition .
Teams from 19 and twelve nations competed for the World and Junior World Trophy. In addition, 29 factory and 82 club teams were at the start.
Germany took part in the World and Junior World Trophy and with five club teams. Switzerland and Austria took part in the World Trophy, and two Swiss club teams were at the start.

Of the 494 registered drivers, 483 started the competition.
In the World Trophy, the Swedish team led ahead of France and the Czech team. Austria was in 9th place. Johannes Steinel was eliminated from the German team and Urs Huber from the Swiss team . For the teams, this meant 15,000 points every day: Germany was in 14th place, Switzerland in 16th place.
At the Junior World Trophy, the Netherlands team led ahead of France and Italy. The German team was in 7th place.
2 day
In the World Trophy, the French team led ahead of the Czech Republic and the Netherlands team. Georg Teufl was eliminated from the Austrian team , the team fell to 12th place. Germany and Switzerland followed in 13th and 15th place respectively.
At the Junior World Trophy, the team from the Netherlands continued to lead ahead of France and the team from Italy. Michael Singler was eliminated from the German team , which from then on meant 15,000 points for the team ranking every day. The team was still in 7th place.
3rd day
In the World Trophy, the Netherlands team led ahead of Finland and France. The German and Swiss teams were 9th and 11th respectively. In the Austrian team, Rudolf Pöschl was the second driver to retire, which meant 16th place for the team.
At the Junior World Trophy, the Netherlands team led ahead of France and Sweden. The German team was still in 7th place.
4th day
In the World Trophy, the Netherlands continued to lead ahead of Finland and Poland. The German team improved to 9th, Switzerland to 11th place. Werner Erös was the third driver to retire from the Austrian team, and the team was still in 16th place.
At the Junior World Trophy, the Netherlands team led ahead of France and the Czech team. In the German team, Nico Klaus, the second driver, was eliminated and the team slipped to 8th place.
5th day
In the World Trophy, the Poland team led ahead of the Netherlands and Ireland. The German team improved to 8th place, Switzerland took 11th place. The Austrian team took 17th place.
At the Junior World Trophy, the Netherlands team continued to lead ahead of France and the Czech team. The German team took 8th place.
6th day
On the last day of driving, the final race was held as the last special stage.
