4. International six-day trip
The 4th International Six-Day Tour took place from August 1st to 6th, 1922 in Switzerland. The start and finish point was Geneva .
Thanks to last year's victory in the 3rd International Six-Day Race , the Swiss Trophy team was able to defend its title in its home country. Again they chose a tour through the whole country. The Swiss team won it for the third time in a row.

The national teams from Switzerland, the United Kingdom and, for the first time, from Sweden took part in the competition for the trophy rating.

The route on the first day led from Geneva to La Chaux-de-Fonds over 210 kilometers.
2 day
The route on the second day led from La Chaux-de-Fonds to Zurich over 280 kilometers.
3rd day
The route on the third day led from Zurich to Lugano over 310 kilometers.
4th day
The route on the fourth day led from Lugano to Bern over 300 kilometers.
5th day
The route on the fifth day led from Bern to Château-d'Oex over 320 kilometers.
6th day
The route on the last day led from Château-d'Œx to Geneva over 290 kilometers. During this stage the Motosacoche rider Bodoni fell. This prevented a better placement for this Swiss team.

In the individual ranking, Geoff Davison (Levis) and the Swiss Dinekel (Condor) were winners in the motorcycle class up to 250 cm³ with 1000 points tied. In the 350 cm³ class, the Briton Williams (1000 points) won ahead of his compatriot Harris with 988 points (both on AJS).
The 500 cm³ class was won by the Swiss Franconi (995 points) on Motosacoche ahead of the Briton Bennett (993 points) on the Sunbeam and the Swedish Husqvarna drivers Gustav Göthe (990 points) and Bernhard Malmberg (983 points). The Swiss Morand on Condor won with 1000 points ahead of the French Lambert on Viratelle with 991 points in the 750 cm³ class.
The 1000 cc class was dominated by Swiss drivers. Sutter (998 points) on a Harley-Davidson wins ahead of André Robert (992 points) on a Motosacoche and Leu (991 points) on a Harley-Davidson.
In the motorcycle team, the Swiss Harley-Davidson rider A. Rothenbach (1000 points) won ahead of Edouard Gex (998 points) on Motosacoche and Frank Giles (996 points) on AJS
The works teams won AJS (2994 points) ahead of Harley-Davidson (2993 points), Motosacoche (2975 points) and Condor (2971 points).
In the club classification, the Moto-Club de Zurich won with 2995 points, ahead of the Worcester-Club with 2994 points and the Motosacoche-Club with 2975 points.
