organization

After the 82nd International Six-Day Race (2007), the event took place for the second time in Chile and for the third time on the South American continent.

For the third time after 2016, the Vintage Trophy was held in parallel (November 14th to 16th) . Drivers could take part in four classes with motorcycles built up to 1986. The national teams did not have to be named. The condition for participation was three drivers from three different classes (except EVO 86). The three fastest drivers in each country were automatically classified as a team.

17 teams for the World Trophy, eleven for the Junior Trophy, nine for the Women's Trophy and 106 club teams from a total of 28 nations took part in the competition.

Germany took part in the World Trophy, Junior Trophy, Women's Trophy and five club teams. Switzerland took part in the World Trophy as well as with a binational (together with Italy) club team. Drivers from Austria did not start.

1 day

A feeder stage was followed by two laps with three special tests each (one cross and two enduro tests) before returning to the starting point in the afternoon. The total length of the stage was 287.8 kilometers. A difficulty for all drivers was the heavy dust build-up on the track.

After the first day of driving, the team from the USA led in the World Trophy ranking, ahead of Australia and Spain. The German team was 10th, the Swiss team 15th.

In the Junior Trophy classification, the Italian team led ahead of France and the USA. The German team was in 8th place.

In the Women's Trophy, the Australian team led the teams from the USA and Spain. The German team was in 8th place.

The club classification was led by Motoclub Italy, ahead of SRT Racing and Team Ostra Enduro Sweden. The best German club team was the DMSB 1-ADAC Württemberg / Westphalia team in 14th place.

2 day

The route on the second day of driving was identical to the previous day, again the dust development was a particular challenge. However, since the start was made from day 2 after the ranking, it was less likely to run into those in front.

The team from Australia led the World Trophy ranking ahead of the USA and Italy. The German team was on the 10th place, the Swiss team on the 15th place.

In the Junior Trophy classification, the Italian team was ahead of the USA and France. The German team was still in 8th place.

In the Women's Trophy, the Australian team continued to lead the teams from the USA and Spain. The German team slipped to 9th place. The German Tanja Schlosser had to retire due to an injury. She fell in the second test and broke her collarbone. This meant that the team's cancellation result was used up for every day of driving.

The club ranking was led by Motoclub Italy ahead of Somerpalu MK and Team Ostra Enduro Sweden. The best German club team was the DMSB 1-ADAC Württemberg / Westphalia team in 14th place.

3rd day

The third stage with a length of 249.9 kilometers was again a circuit to be completed twice. The special tests of a round were a cross and two enduro tests. In the second lap, the race management decided not to allow the first special stage in the sequence to be run due to the heavy dustiness for safety reasons.

In the World Trophy classification, the team from Australia continued to lead ahead of the USA and Italy. The German team was still on the 10th place, the Swiss team improved to the 13th place. The German Edward Huebner fell in the first special stage of the day and injured his hand and forearm so badly that he had to give up. The team's daily cancellation result was thus used up.

The Italian team continued to lead the Junior Trophy ranking ahead of the USA and France. The German team improved to 7th place.

In the Women's Trophy, the Australian team continued to lead the teams from the USA and Spain. The German team was in 9th place. The German Nadine Maier decided to give up after the first special test due to the loss of time and the risk of the following drivers coming into play in order to have a one-time restart on the following day according to the regulations.

As on the day before, the club ranking was led by Motoclub Italy ahead of Somerpalu MK and Team Ostra Enduro Sweden. The best German club team was the DMSB 1-ADAC Württemberg / Westphalia team in 16th place.

4th day

The route was identical to the previous day, dust and heat were still a particular challenge.

At the end of the fourth day of driving, the team from Australia continued to lead in the World Trophy ranking, ahead of the USA and Spain. The German team was 10th, the Swiss team improved to 12th place.

In the Junior Trophy classification, the Italian team was ahead of the USA and France. The German team was still in 7th place.

In the Women's Trophy, the Australian team was ahead of the teams from the USA and Spain. The German team was in 9th place.

Motoclub Italy led the club ranking ahead of Somerpalu MK and Team Ostra Enduro Sweden. The best German club team was the DMSB 1-ADAC Württemberg / Westphalia team in 15th place.

5th day

The stage was 273.1 kilometers long, spread over two laps. The special tests per round were three enduro tests.

The intermediate results after the fifth day of driving: In the World Trophy classification, the team from Australia continued to lead ahead of the USA and Italy. The German team was on 10th place, the Swiss team on 12th place.

In the Junior Trophy, the Italian team continued to lead ahead of the USA and France. The German team remained unchanged in 7th place.

In the Women's Trophy, the Australian team continued to lead the teams from the USA and Spain. The German team was unchanged in 9th place. The German Nadine Maier had to give up again and for good.

As on the day before, the club ranking was led by Motoclub Italy ahead of Somerpalu MK and Team Ostra Enduro Sweden. The best German club team was the DMSB 1-ADAC Württemberg / Westphalia team in 15th place.

6th day

No stage was driven on the last day of the event. The final motocross, the last special stage, was held on Concón Beach on the Pacific Ocean.
