The event took place in Greece for the first time. The parc fermé and the paddock were on the "Racecircuit Serres".

26 teams for the World Trophy, 16 for the Junior Trophy, four for the Women's Trophy and 74 club teams from 32 nations took part in the competition.

Germany took part in the World Trophy, Junior Trophy, Women's Trophy and four club teams. Austria and Switzerland each took part in the World Trophy. There was also an Austrian club team at the start.

1 day

Particular challenges for all drivers were the heavy dust formation on the track and the high temperatures. The highest points of the stage were well over 1,600 meters.
