Thomas Oldrati
Thomas Oldrati (born July 20, 1989 in Bergamo ) is an Italian enduro athlete . He was a multiple Italian Enduro champion and a member of the victorious Italian Junior Trophy at the International Six-Day Race in 2008.
Career
Thomas Oldrati began his motorsport career in 2004. In the first year he won the Lombard championships in enduro and mini cross in his age group. In 2005 he became Italian champion in the 50 cm³ cadet class.
In 2006 he started in the Enduro European Championship and won the E1 junior class on Husqvarna . He also achieved overall victory in the cadet class up to 125 cm³ in the Italian championship. The following year he won the Italian Enduro Championship in the class up to 125 cm³. In 2008 he defended this title. He also won the U-21 FIM Junior Cup in the Enduro World Championship . At the international six-day race in Serres , Greece , he was a member of the victorious Junior Trophy team.
In 2009 he was again Italian champion. In the Enduro World Championship he was fifth in class E1. The following year he switched to a 250 cc four-stroke machine and was again national champion. At the world championship he won his first championship run in Slovakia . At the end of the year he achieved third place in class E2. At the international six-day race in Morelia , Mexico , he came second with the trophy team and in the individual classification in class E2, he came third.
In 2011 he again defended his Italian championship title. In the world championship he was tenth in class E1, as he only played three of the eight events. At the International Six-Day Race in Finland he was a member of the Junior Trophy team and was eliminated on the first day of competition.
In 2012, the Oldrati , who has been driving for KTM since 2007, will be racing for this brand again. He intends to start for Alessandro Belometti's Bordone Ferrari Racing Team in class E1.
