22. International six-day trip
The 22nd International Six-Day Ride was an off-road motorcycle competition that took place from September 16 to 21, 1947 in Zlín, Czechoslovakia, and the surrounding area. The national teams of the host Czechoslovakia were able to win the World Trophy and Silver Vase for the first time.

The event was the first to take place after an eight-year hiatus due to World War II and was held for the first time in Czechoslovakia. The host was the Autoklub Republiky Československé (AKRČs).
126 drivers from ten FIM motorsport associations were registered for the competition. Only teams from the host nation Czechoslovakia and Italy competed for the World Trophy. In addition, ten silver vase, eleven factory and 16 club teams were at the start.
German teams and drivers were not at the start. Switzerland took part with a silver vase and a club team, and the three drivers were identical.
With R. Hunger, E. Beranek and H. Riedl, three Austrian individual drivers took part, although a further 13 drivers were registered but had not started.

Of the 126 registered drivers, 105 started the competition.
After the first day of driving the World Trophy was led by the Czechoslovakia team with no penalty points before Italy, for which 14 penalty points were recorded.
In the silver vase evaluation, the teams from Czechoslovakia (A), the Netherlands (A), Poland (A) and Switzerland were still without penalty points and were tied.
In the club ranking, the teams Autoklub Poděbrady, Motoclub Riviera-vevey, MC Wassenaar and MC Arnheim were tied without penalty points.
13 drivers dropped out of the competition.
2 day
The World Trophy continued to lead the Czechoslovakia team with no penalty points ahead of Italy. With N. Grieco, the Italian team had their first driver retirement, for which 100 penalty points were recorded every day.
In the silver vase evaluation, the teams from Czechoslovakia (A) and Poland (A) were still without penalty points and were tied, with the B team from Poland taking third place. In the Swiss team, P. Matti, the first driver to retire, the team was in 4th place
Autoklub Turnov led the club ranking ahead of Autoklub Poděbrady and Svaz závodníků RČS. The Swiss Motoclub Riviera-vevey finished 5th after a driver failure.
Eleven drivers dropped out of the competition.
3rd day
In the World Trophy, Czechoslovakia continued to lead ahead of Italy.
The A-team from Czechoslovakia led the silver vase ranking ahead of the A-team from Poland and the B-team from the Netherlands. The Swiss team was in 6th place.
In the club ranking, Autoklub Poděbrady was ahead of Autoklub Zlín A and Svaz závodníků RČS. The Motoclub Riviera-vevey took 6th place.
Six drivers dropped out of the competition.
4th day
At the end of the fourth day of driving, the team from Czechoslovakia continued to lead ahead of Italy in the World Trophy. In the Italian team, M. Fornasari, the second driver retired.
In the silver vase standings, the A team from Czechoslovakia led ahead of the B team from the Netherlands and the B team from Poland. In the Swiss team, Ch. Ries, the second driver, was eliminated, the team was in 6th place (on a par with the B team of Czechoslovakia).
The club ranking was led by the Poděbrady car club ahead of Svaz závodníků RČS and MC Wassenaar. The Motoclub Riviera-vevey took 8th place (on a par with Svaz závodníků ČSR).
Five drivers dropped out of the competition.
5th day
The intermediate results after the fifth day of driving: In the World Trophy, the Czechoslovakia team, which had no penalty points, was still ahead of Italy.
In the silver vase standings, the A-team from Czechoslovakia continued ahead of the B-team from the Netherlands and the B-team from Poland. The Swiss team took 7th place.
As the day before, Autoklub Poděbrady led the club ranking ahead of Svaz závodníků RČS and MC Wassenaar. The Motoclub Riviera-vevey took 10th place
Four drivers dropped out of the competition.
6th day
On the last day there was a stage and the final race (speed test).
One driver dropped out of the competition. Of 105 drivers who started on the first day, 65 made it to the finish.
