The Czechoslovakia took part in the Summer Olympics in 1920 in Antwerp with a delegation of 119 athletes (118 men and one woman) to 53 competitions in 13 sports part. It was the first time that Czechoslovakia participated in the Olympic Games.
The Czechoslovak athletes won two bronze medals. The ice hockey team took third place as did the tennis players Ladislav Žemla and Milada Skrbková in mixed doubles. Skrbková was also the only female participant in Czechoslovakia. The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete Václav Vohralík .
