The Netherlands participated in the 1920 Summer Olympics in Antwerp with a delegation of 130 athletes (129 men and one woman) in 58 competitions in 15 sports.

The Dutch athletes won four gold, two silver and five bronze medals. The archery team was also Olympic champion on the moving bird target at the 28-meter distance, as was Maurice Peeters in the track bike sprint and the sailing teams Cornelis , Frans and Johan Hin in the 12-foot dinghy and Petrus Wernink , Bernard Carp and Joop Carp in the 6.5 meter class. The standard bearer at the opening ceremony was the functionary JH van Dijk.
