The Netherlands took part in the 1960 Winter Olympics in Squaw Valley, USA, with a delegation of seven athletes, five men and two women.
Since 1928 it was the sixth participation of the Netherlands in the Winter Olympic Games .
Flag bearer
Speed skater Kees Broekman carried the flag of the Netherlands during the opening ceremony in the Blyth Arena .

With one gained silver and bronze, the Dutch team finished 11th in the medals table .
