New Zealand competed in the 1960 Winter Olympics at Squaw Valley Ski Resort in the United States with four athletes, two women and two men.

After 1952 , it was New Zealand's second participation in the Winter Olympics .

Flag bearer

Bill Hunt carried the New Zealand flag during the opening ceremony at the Blyth Arena .
