Australasia was the name of the team from Oceania, which was composed of athletes from Australia and New Zealand , which took part in the 1908 Summer Olympics in London . It was the fourth participation by Australia, which had not yet missed the Summer Olympics and the first participation for New Zealand. The two countries also took part in the 1912 Summer Olympics together. Later both countries took part in each of the following games. There were three New Zealanders on the team: Kerr, Henry St Aubyn Murray and Albert Rowland (the fourth Arthur Halligan competed for the UK ). All other participants were Australians.
