The Netherlands took part in the 1952 Winter Olympics in the Norwegian capital, Oslo, with eleven athletes, two women and nine men.
Since 1928 it was the fourth participation of a Dutch team in the Winter Olympics .
Flag bearer
The speed skater Wim van der Voort carried the flag of the Netherlands during the opening ceremony in the Bislett Stadium .

With three silver medals won the Dutch team finished 9th in the medal count .
