Hungary participated in the VI. 1952 Winter Olympics in the Norwegian capital Oslo with a delegation of 12 athletes in four disciplines, eight of them men and four women. The figure skaters Marianna Nagy and László Nagy won the only medal in Hungary with bronze in pairskatingat these games.

The standard bearer at the opening ceremony was the speed skater Lőrincz Ferenc .
