Hungary participated in the IX. 1964 Olympic Winter Games in Austrian Innsbruck with a delegation of 28 athletes in six disciplines in part, 22 men and 6 women. None of the athletes managed to win a medal.

The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the ice hockey player Lajos Koutny .
