Hungary took part in the 1924 Summer Olympics in Paris with a delegation of 89 athletes (86 men and 3 women) in 54 competitions in 12 competitions.

The Hungarian athletes won two gold, three silver and four bronze medals. Olympic champions were Sándor Pósta in saber fencing and Gyula Halasy in trap shooting. Elemér Somfay secured silver in the modern pentathlon, Lajos Keresztes in the Greco-Roman wrestling in the lightweight and the men's saber team. János Garay each won a bronze medal in saber fencing, Károly Bartha in the 100 m backstroke, Raymund Badó in the Greco-Roman heavyweight wrestling and the men's foil team. The flag bearer at the opening ceremony was the athlete Sándor Toldi .
