Henri Jacob Marie Wijnoldy-Daniëls (born November 26, 1889 in Sliedrecht , † August 20, 1932 in Cabourg , France ) was a Dutch fencer .

successes

Henri Wijnoldy-Daniëls took part in three Olympic Games . In 1920 he competed in Antwerp with saber and sword and finished ninth in the individual with the former. He finished the team competition with the Dutch team, which in addition to Wijnoldy-Daniëls also included Willem van Blijenburgh , Jetze Doorman , Arie de Jong , Jan van der Wiel , Salomon Zeldenrust and Louis Delaunoij , behind Italy and France on the bronze medal . With the sword he was eliminated in the preliminary round of the individual and finished seventh in the team competition. At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924 , he took part in all three team competitions. With the Saber team he reached the final round, in which he again finished third behind Italy and Hungary . Together with Jetze Doorman, Jan van der Wiel, Arie de Jong, Hendrik Scherpenhuijzen and Maarten van Dulm , he received another bronze medal. With the foil and the epee team, he was eliminated in the preliminary round. In 1928 he was in Amsterdam with the sword and the saber team fifth, in the saber singles he did not get past the first round. In 1921 in Paris and in 1923 in The Hague , he finished third at the individual world championships .
