Antonius Hubertus Maria "Antoine" Bouwens (born May 22, 1876 in Hunsel , † March 28, 1963 in Beverwijk ) was a Dutch sport shooter .

Antonius Bouwens took part in the Olympic Games in Paris in 1900 and in Antwerp in 1920 . In 1900 he finished 15th in the individual competition with the free pistol , while he won the bronze medal in the team competition with Henrik Sillem , Solko van den Bergh , Anthony Sweijs and Dirk Boest Gips . The Olympic competition also counted as a world championship . The remaining five disciplines in which Bouwens participated were fought with the rifle. In the individual competitions he missed a front placement, with the team he completed the three-position battle in fifth place. At the Olympic Games in 1920 he remained without a medal and did not make it into the top five participants in any competition.

At world championships , Bouwens won five other medals. In the three-position battle with the team, he secured the silver medal in Lucerne in 1901 and in Viborg in 1914 and the bronze medal in Biarritz in 1912 . In 1924 he won bronze with the army rifle in the standing position in Reims , before he became vice world champion in this discipline in St. Gallen the following year .

His brother Herman Bouwens was also an Olympic marksman.
