Solko Johannes van den Bergh (born June 4, 1854 in The Hague , † December 25, 1916 there ) was a Dutch sports shooter .
successes
Solko van den Bergh participated in the 1900 Olympic Games in Paris in seven disciplines. In the individual competition, he took 18th place with the free pistol , while he won the bronze medal in the team competition with Antonius Bouwens , Henrik Sillem , Anthony Sweijs and Dirk Boest Gips . The Olympic competition also counted as a world championship . The other five disciplines in which van den Berg took part were held with the rifle. In the individual competitions he missed a front placement, with the team he completed the three-position battle in fifth place.
Van den Bergh was a notary . His son Gerard van den Bergh was also an Olympic sport shooter.
