92nd international six-day trip

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 92nd international six-day race was the team world championship in enduro sport and took place from August 28 to September 2, 2017 in Brive-la-Gaillarde, France, and the surrounding area. The host's national teams won the World Trophy for the ninth time and the Junior World Trophy for the sixth time. The Women's World Trophy went to the Australian national team for the fifth time in a row.

competition

organization

The event took place in Brive-la-Gaillarde for the second time, after the 76th International Six-Day Race (2001) was held here.

For the second time after 2016, the Vintage Trophy was held in parallel (August 31 to September 2) . Drivers were able to participate in five classes with motorcycles built up to 1986. The national teams did not have to be named. The condition for participation was three drivers from three different classes (except EVO 86). The three fastest drivers in each country were automatically classified as a team.

As in the previous year, there was also the Motorex Challenge . The company supported participating club and vintage drivers during the event with their own lubricants and care products free of charge. In return, the participants had to put the advertising lettering on the equipment of the driver and the motorcycles. The winning team in the club competition received a special award and products worth € 2,000.

19 teams for the World Trophy, 16 for the Junior Trophy, nine for the Women's Trophy and 167 club teams from a total of 32 nations took part in the competition.

Germany took part in the Junior Trophy and with ten club teams. Switzerland took part in the World Trophy and Junior Trophy as well as with three club teams. A club team from Austria took part.
