84th International six-day trip

The 84th international six-day race was the team world championship in enduro sport and took place from October 11th to 16th, 2009 in Figueira da Foz, Portugal, and the Serra da Boa Viagem . The national teams of France won the World Trophy for the fourth and second time in a row and the Women's Trophy for the second time in a row. The Junior World Trophy went to the Spanish national team for the fifth time.

The event took place in Portugal for the second time.

16 teams for the World Trophy, 15 for the Junior Trophy, five for the Women's Trophy and 91 club teams from a total of 24 nations took part in the competition.

Germany took part in the World Trophy and Junior Trophy as well as with six (including one mixed national) club teams. Switzerland took part in the World Trophy, drivers from Austria did not start.

Immediately before the finish of each stage of the first five days of driving, there was a special stage on the sandy beach of Figueira da Foz, in the immediate vicinity of the promenade and the paddock.

1 day

The first stage of the day was after a short journey there and then a short journey back, a circuit to be driven twice south of the Mondegos , which was crossed via the Ponte Edgar Cardoso after the start and before the finish. The special stages per lap were two enduro and one motocross test.

After the first day of driving, the team from France led in the World Trophy standings, ahead of Finland and Italy. The German team was 11th, the Swiss team 13th.

The French team led the USA and Spain in the Junior Trophy classification. The German team was in 8th place.

In the Women's Trophy, the French team led the teams from Sweden and the USA.

The club classification was led by Haruda Team Rac Sedlcany ahead of Motoclub Italia and Gofasters.com. The best German club team was the DMSB 1 Adac Sachsen team in 9th place.

2 day

On the second day, the route of the previous day was driven, and the special stages were also identical.

As on the previous day, the team from France led the World Trophy ranking ahead of Finland and Italy. The German team improved to 10th place, the Swiss team was on 13th place.

In the Junior Trophy classification, the Spanish team was ahead of France and the USA. The German team improved to 7th place.

In the Women's Trophy, the French team led the teams from Sweden and Australia.

The club ranking was led by Haruda Team Rac Sedlcany ahead of Motoclub Italia and Motoklub Jiretin-Nejlevnejsioneu.cz. The DMSB 1 Adac Sachsen team improved to 6th place.

3rd day

The third day's stage was a circuit to be driven twice in the north of Figueira da Foz, which was reached again after a short journey and later return. The special stages per lap were two enduro and one motocross test.

In the World Trophy classification, the team from France was ahead of Italy and Finland. The German team slipped to 11th place, the Swiss team improved to 12th place. The German driver Marco Straubel received nine penalty minutes because his motorcycle stalled and the throttle response caused problems. A repair in which he completely disassembled and cleaned the carburetor could fix the problem.

The Spanish team continued to lead the Junior Trophy ranking ahead of France and the USA. The German team was unchanged in 7th place.

In the Women's Trophy, as on the day before, the French team led the teams from Sweden and Australia.

As the day before, the club ranking was led by Haruda Team Rac Sedlcany ahead of Motoclub Italia and Motoklub Jiretin-Nejlevnejsioneu.cz. The DMSB 1 Adac Sachsen team remained unchanged on 6th place.

4th day

The route is that of the third day of driving, including the special stages.

At the end of the fourth day of driving, the team from France led in the World Trophy standings, ahead of Italy and Australia. The German team was unchanged in 11th place, the Swiss team in 12th place. The German driver Jens Pester had a hard crash and had to give up, a concussion was diagnosed in the hospital and a thumb injury was treated. Marc Bieri retired from the Swiss team. He broke his collarbone in an accident with a car driver and had to give up. For both teams, the daily cancellation result was used up.

In the Junior Trophy classification, the Spanish team continued to lead ahead of France and the USA. The German team slipped to 8th place.

In the Women's Trophy, the French team was ahead of the teams from Sweden and Australia.

In the club standings, Haruda Team Rac Sedlcany continued to lead ahead of Motoclub Italia and Motoklub Jiretin-Nejlevnejsioneu.cz. The DMSB 1 Adac Sachsen team improved to 5th place.

5th day

On the fifth day another circuit was driven in the northeast, again two laps had to be completed. The special stages were two enduro, one motocross and one trail test.

The intermediate results after the fifth day of driving: In the World Trophy standings, the team from France continued ahead of Italy and Australia. The German team was on the 11th place, the Swiss team on the 12th place. In the German team, Derrick Görner received penalty minutes because he had to change a defective clutch.

In the Junior Trophy, the Spanish team continued to lead ahead of France and the USA. The German team was unchanged in 8th place.

In the Women's Trophy, the French team continued to lead the teams from Sweden and Australia.

The club classification was led by Haruda Team Rac Sedlcany ahead of Motoklub Jiretin-Nejlevnejsipneu.cz and Team Ostra Junior. Team DMSB 1 Adac Sachsen was unchanged on 5th place.

6th day

On the last day, an 85-kilometer stage was driven towards Águeda . The final motocross was the last special stage on the World Championship track there.
