Eva Mückstein

Eva Mückstein (born December 7, 1958 in Baden , Lower Austria ) is an Austrian politician ( GREEN ). From October 2013 to November 2017 she was a member of the Austrian National Council .

Life

Eva Mückstein attended the Realgymnasium in Berndorf until 1973 and later the commercial academy in Baden near Vienna, where she passed the Matura in 1978 . She then enrolled at the University of Vienna , where she studied psychology until 1985 . The title of her dissertation in 1985 was Information Processing Disorder in the Area of ​​Imagination as a Central Disorder of Autism . A cf. Under d. Processing v. Eva Mückstein has been working as a psychotherapist and health psychologist since 1987 . Since 1991 she has been running her own practice in Bad Vöslau . In 2000 she was elected Vice-President of the Austrian Federal Association for Psychotherapy (ÖBVP), which was to be followed by the election of President in 2007.

In 2010 she finally went into politics when she moved into the municipal council of Bad Vöslau for the Greens . It was her until she was sworn in as a member of the National Council in October 2013.

Eva Mückstein is married and lives in a blended family . In addition to her own daughter, the film director Katharina Mückstein , she has three grown children from her husband's first marriage.
