Eva Viehoff

Eva Viehoff (* 1958 in Salzgitter - Lebenstedt ) is a German politician of the Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen party .

Life

Viehoff studied agricultural science at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel and works as an agricultural engineer. From 1995 to 2008 she was employed at the Alfred Wegener Institute Helmholtz Center for Polar and Marine Research .

Viehoff has been a member of the council of Loxstedt since 1996 and has been deputy mayor there since 2006, with interruptions. She has been a member of the district council in the Cuxhaven district since 2006 and has been chairwoman of the green district parliamentary group there since 2016.

Viehoff was able to move into the Lower Saxony state parliament on October 15, 2017 for Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen. Viehoff is widowed and has three children.
