Evan Fraser

Evan David Gaviller Fraser (* 1973 ) is a British - Canadian geographer at the University of Guelph .

Fraser studied anthropology (Bachelor 1996) at the University of Toronto and then a Master in Forest Science from the University of British Columbia. There he received his PhD in Resource Management and Environmental Studies in 2002 . Fraser was then Associate Professor and holder of the Canada Research Chair in Global Human Security in the Department of Geography at the University of Guelph, as well as a Senior Lecturer at the School of Earth and Environment at the University of Leeds .

Evan Fraser researches global mechanisms of adaptation to factors of so-called global change . The most important goal is food security against the influencing factors climate change, limited resources and changing economic situations.
