Evan Oliphant (born January 8, 1982 in Wick ) is a former Scottish cyclist .

Athletic career

Evan Oliphant began his career in 2005 with the British Continental Team Recycling.co.uk . In his first season he was once stage runner-up in the Tour of Britain on the fourth section. Also at the Tour de Langkawi 2006 he made it to second place in the fourth stage. At the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne in 2006 , Oliphant finished fourth in the points race and barely missed a medal rank. With Endura Racing he won the team time trial at the 2011 Czech Cycling Tour . In 2012, Oliphant switched to the British team Raleigh-GAC and was once again second in the third stage of the Vuelta Mexico . In 2013 he won the British Premier Calendar Road Series .

In 2016, Oliphant was the seventh Scottish road racing champion .
