The Protestant church is a listed church building in Bleichenbach , a district of Ortenberg in the Wetterau district (Hesse).

History and architecture

The previous church was built in 1697 as a half-timbered church. The church, a simple hall structure made of sandstone with a three-sided end and gable roof turret , was built from 1728 to 1729 under the supervision of the Hanau foreman Starck. The posts of the three-sided galleries extend to the ceiling. The gallery parapets were decorated with paintings by Isaak Koch in 1732, which were uncovered again in 1954.
