For details see: here . 1601, there was a real division of Kondominats, the village Bleichenbach to the Hanau-Münzenberg , 1642: County Hanau fell. The county of Hanau fell in 1736 when the last Hanau count, Johann Reinhard III, died. , on the basis of an inheritance contract to the Landgraviate of Hessen-Kassel . The Hanau, later Hessian " Amt Ortenberg " then formed part of the Grand Ducal Hessian Amt Ortenberg from 1810 onwards . In 1821 the Grand Duchy formed the district of Nidda , into which all parts of the former Ortenberg office were merged and which was called Kreis Nidda from 1832 . With the revolution of 1848 the administrative district of Nidda was briefly formed, but in 1852 the district of Nidda was revived. In 1874 the areas of the former Ortenberg district became part of the Büdingen district , which became part of the Wetterau district with the regional reform in Hessen in 1972 .

Bleichenbach was in the course of administrative reform in Hesse on 1 July 1971, the cities of Ortenberg and Lißberg and four other smaller surrounding communities on a voluntary basis to the new city Ortenberg together .

Church conditions

The oldest surviving mention of Bleichenbach from 1219 also mentions a chapel in the village, whose patronage was the Konradsdorf Monastery . In the 15th century the patronage held the Electoral Palatinate , which gave it to the Lords of Bleichenbach as a fief in 1477 . In 1504 it was bought by Hanau . Before the Reformation , the parish belonged to the Diocese of Mainz, the central church authority was the Archdiaconate of the Provost of Konradsdorf Monastery. In the course of the Reformation, all the rulers of the Ortenberg condominium joined the Reformed direction of the Reformation, including Bleichenbach.
