The Evangelical Church is a listed church building at Minervastraße 8 in Isselburg , a town in the Borken district ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

History and architecture

The rectangular, classical hall building was built from 1830 to 1832 in the manner of Karl Friedrich Schinkel from brick with ashlar structure. The newly jacketed west tower from the 18th century was included. In 1907/08 the building was extended to the east. The rectangular windows between cornices are grouped together like a ribbon. A flat wooden ceiling has been drawn into the interior.

Furnishing

  • A wooden pulpit
  • The large cast iron chandelier with tendril-shaped arms from 1850 was probably made by Minervahütte.
  • The associated sconces have been partially reconstructed.
  • The organ front was installed in the first third of the 19th century.
