Evangelical church community Gersweiler-Klarenthal
The Evangelical Church Congregation Gersweiler-Klarenthal is an independent Evangelical Church Congregation , which has existed as a public corporation in the Saar-West parish of the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland since 2008 with the two parishes of Gersweiler and Klarenthal .
history
The parish was a branch of the Protestant parish of Malstatt until the 19th century . In 1844 the parish was given the former abbey forester's house as a rectory. Then the two independent communities Gersweiler ( Saarbrücken church district ) and Klarenthal ( Völklingen church district , originally Klarenthal-Krughütte ) were formed. In 2008 , for economic and organizational reasons, the formerly independent parishes were merged to form the Gersweiler-Klarenthal church community. When the Saarbrücken and Völklingen church districts also merged to form the Saar-West church district in 2009 , the Gerweiler-Klarenthal parish joined it.
Parishes
In the parish one Gersweiler Jutta Seibert holds the parish. The church is located in the main street in Gersweiler. In the church of Gersweiler there is a historic organ made by EF Walcker u. Cie from Ludwigsburg. The parish has a parsonage and runs a kindergarten in the immediate vicinity of the church.
In the parish 2 Klarenthal Uwe Lorenzen has held the parish. The church and the rectory are located in the main street in Klarenthal. The church has a historic Klais organ.
Gersweiler Kindergarten
The parish maintains a kindergarten in Gersweiler with the Protestant "Kinderhaus Sonnenschein".
