Location and use

The Evangelical Parish Church Steinfischbach, Camberger Straße 15, is used by the parish of the same name. The parish belongs to the Evangelical Church in Hesse and Nassau .

Building history and equipment

The Protestant church was built by the Wiesbaden architect Eduard Zais in the years 1841 to 1843 in the classicism style. It replaced an older church that was near the present cemetery.

The church, visible from afar due to its elevated position, is a classical hall building with a tall, slender tower in the west. The facade is a quarry stone masonry with sandstone parts.

The uniform interior with the three-sided gallery over arches on slender pillars and the pulpit in a blind arcade centrally above the altar comes from the time it was built.

organ

The Raßmann organ from 1843 with two manuals, a pedal and 23 stops is one of the organ builder's largest instruments and has been preserved almost entirely in the original.
