The Evangelical Cemetery Alt-Schmargendorf is located on Breiten Straße in the Berlin district of Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf in the Schmargendorf district . The cemetery was first laid out around 1250 as the churchyard of the Schmargendorf village church . It is administered by the Evangelical Church Community Schmargendorf and today covers an area of ​​1,673 m².

The village church stands on the cemetery grounds and the cemetery is directly adjacent to the Schmargendorf municipal cemetery and is often shown together with it in descriptions.

Johann von Wilmersdorf and Wilmerstorp, envoy of the Electors Johann Sigismund and Georg Wilhelm and owner of Wilmersdorf and Schmargendorf until his death in 1635, and his wife Eva von Wilmersdorf, née von Below , are buried in the grave vault of the village church Schmargendorf .

The Protestant cemetery is very limited in size and does not house any graves of known people.

The grave cross Peter Gottfried Salomon Schmidt from 1844 is registered as a monument in the Berlin monument list.
