Evelin Fischer

Evelin Fischer (born January 9, 1948 in Greppin ) is a German politician (SPD). From 1990 to 1994 she was a member of the German Bundestag.

Fischer attended the polytechnic high school and then completed a degree at a technical college at an institute for teacher training . After studying at university, she then worked as a designer. In 1989 she became a member of the New Forum , but resigned in January 1990 to found a local SPD association. For the SPD Fischer belonged to the district council Graefenhainichen on. In the first all-German federal election on December 2, 1990, she entered the Bundestag via the state list of Saxony-Anhalt. There she was a member of the Committee for Education and Science and a deputy member of the Interior Committee until July 1993. After the end of the electoral term, she left parliament.
