Eveline Artmann

Eveline Artmann (born October 18, 1968 in Freistadt , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian lawyer and professor at the Johannes Kepler University (JKU) Linz .

She is the deputy of the board of directors of the Institute for Corporate Law , member of the board of the municipal science society as well as of the board of the company law association Austria.

Life

Eveline Artmann studied law at the Johannes Kepler University Linz (Mag. Iur, Dr. iur). First as a contract assistant and later as a university assistant at the Institute for Commercial and Securities Law of the JKU (since 1/2004 Institute for Corporate Law) with Martin Karollus , she qualified as a professor in 2004 for the subject of commercial and corporate law and thus became an extraordinary university professor . Artmann worked from 2/2006 to 9/2006 in the renowned Viennese law firm Fellner Wratzfeld & Partner in Vienna. On December 1, 2009, Artmann was appointed university professor at the Institute for Corporate Law.

Prices

The dissertation on the subject of “Competition Law and Environmental Protection” (Manz Verlag, Vienna 1997) was awarded the main prize of the VOEST ALPINE STAHL AG Prize 1997 “Environment and Economy” and the 1997 Walter Haslinger Private Foundation award.

Artmann received the main prize of the Walther Kastner Prize 2005 as well as the advancement prize of the Dr. for the postdoctoral thesis on the subject of "Corporate law issues of the tax group - At the same time a contribution to corporate law" (Manz Verlag, Vienna 2004).
