Eviction was an American thrash metal band formed in Leetsdale , Pennsylvania in 1986 .

history

The band recorded their first demo Struggle with Society in 1987. In the following year the next demo called Who Will Win? . As a result, the band reached a contract with Metal Blade Records . Appearances with other bands like Exodus and Vio-lence followed . In 1990 the band released their first and only album called The World Is Hours Away . Several more gigs followed over the next three years, and in 1993 they released the Demo Think Tank . Then the band broke up. Bassist Ted Williams later joined the band Dream Death , with which he had played before. Todd Porter and Rob Tabachka play together in a band called Silver Tongued Devil . Rob Tabachka sells a music store in Pittsburgh .

The band played classic Thrash Metal, with a clear hardcore influence to be heard in the songs .
