Ewa Malik

Ewa Danuta Malik (born January 11, 1961 in Sosnowiec ) is a Polish politician , since 2005 a member of the Sejm in the V. and VI . Electoral term.

Life

Ewa Malik studied metallurgy engineering and completed a postgraduate course in journalism . Until 2004 she was employed at the Institute of Computer Science at the Silesian University in Katowice . She was the editor of the socio-religious monthly magazine "Zagórzanin". From 2002 to 2005 she was a councilor in Sosnowiec and director of the Jarosław Kaczyński MPs in that city.

Since the beginning of the 1990s it belonged to the Catholic right-wing conservative Porozumienie Centrum (Center Agreement - PC), after which it joined the Prawo i Sprawiedliwość (Law and Justice - PiS). In the 2005 parliamentary elections , she was elected to the Sejm for the constituency of Sosnowiec from the list of PiS. In the 2007 Sejm elections , she won a seat for the PiS for the second time with 32,231 votes. She is a member of the Sejm Commissions for State Treasury and Economic Policy.
