Ewa Wolak

Ewa Wanda Wolak (born June 1, 1960 in Breslau (Wrocław)) is a Polish politician of the Platforma Obywatelska ( Civic Platform ).

Life

Ewa Wolak grew up in the Wroclaw district of Psie Pole ( Hundsfeld ). She studied at the University of Wroclaw and graduated with a master's degree in geology . She later completed postgraduate courses in education, physics, chemistry, and mathematics. From 1998 to 2005 she was on the City Council of Wroclaw, first as a representative of Solidarność , from 2004 as a representative of Platforma Obywatelska. After completing her studies, she worked as a teacher, first in elementary school No. 8, then in secondary school No. 2. From 2001 she was a consultant in the Wroclaw Teacher Improvement Center (Centrum Doskonalenia Nauczycieli). In 2004 she became a member of Platforma Obywatelska and took part in the parliamentary elections in Poland in 2005 in constituency 3 Wrocław. With 3,465 votes, Ewa Wolak was able to win a mandate for the Sejm . In the early parliamentary elections in 2007 , she came again in constituency 3 Wrocław and moved back to parliament with 7,686 votes. Wolak has been a member of the Commission for Education, Teaching and Youth since 2005 . From 2005 to the 2007 election, she continued to work for the Labor Commission, and since 2007 she has been working for the Commission for Environmental Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry.

Ewa Wolak is married and has two sons.
