Ewald Krümmer

Ewald Krümmer (born September 17, 1896 in Sulzbach / Saar , † October 9, 1968 in Iserlohn ) was a German diplomat and politician ( FDP ).

origin

His parents were the real secret Oberbergrat Friedrich Wilhelm Gisbert Krümmer (1856-1922) and his wife Mathilde Frederike von Veith (born September 22, 1858, † September 30, 1921).

Life and work

After graduation elbow began studying law, he awarded the degree of Dr. jur. finished. He worked in the Foreign Service from 1922 to 1943 and was most recently appointed Consul General. After the Second World War he worked as a private lecturer on political issues in adult education.

Political party

On May 1, 1937, he joined the NSDAP and was promoted to regional group leader there in 1938. Until 1943 he was the permanent representative of Undersecretary Luther . He is transferred abroad and comes to Adana, Turkey. Nothing is known about its denazification .

Krümmer joined the FDP and was chairman of the FDP local branch in Iserlohn from 1958 to 1962. From 1961 to 1966 he was chairman of the FDP district association Westphalia- West and since 1967 its honorary chairman.

MP

Krümmer had been a member of the city council of Iserlohn since 1952 . He belonged to the German Bundestag from January 24, 1963, when he moved up on the state list of North Rhine-Westphalia for the deceased MP Wolfgang Döring , until 1965. Here he was chairman of the working group for foreign policy and defense of the FDP parliamentary group.

Public offices

Krümmer has been mayor of the city of Iserlohn since 1956 and from 1961 to 1963 as mayor.
