Expretus is a band from Dresden that was founded in 1999. Their music is multi-style and experimental and can best be described as a mixture of alternative rock , wave and electronica . In addition to concerts in the Dresden region , Expretus took part in the Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig and at festivals in France and the Czech Republic . These concerts and the debut album Gezeitenrausch, which was sold out shortly thereafter, brought Expretus attention throughout Germany.
The appearance of the band includes conceptually coordinated video projections and clothing in the band's own style. The band works with various artists such as documentary filmmakers, photographers, a costume designer, graphic and web designers and lighting technicians.
