Fânzeres is a place and a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .

Fânzeres belongs to the Gondomar county in the Porto district . The community had an area of ​​8.1 km² and 23,150 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011). The place was elevated to Vila on June 30, 1989 .

On September 29, 2013, the municipalities of Fânzeres and São Pedro da Cova were merged to form the new municipality of União das Freguesias de Fânzeres e São Pedro da Cova . Fânzeres is the seat of this newly formed community.
