The União the Freguesias de Fânzeres e São Pedro da Cova , short Fânzeres e São Pedro da Cova , is a Portuguese parish ( freguesia ) in the district ( Concelho ) Gondomar in the northwest of Portugal . It belongs to the metropolitan area of Porto .

The municipality was created in the course of the regional reform of September 29, 2013 by merging the former municipalities of Fânzeres and São Pedro da Cova . Fânzeres became the seat of the new administration, the former municipal administration in São Pedro da Cova remained as a citizens' office and branch of the new municipal administration.
