Jovim is a former municipality ( freguesia ) in northern Portugal .
The former municipality of Jovim belongs to the district of Gondomar in the district of Porto , has an area of 7.2 km² and has 7166 inhabitants (as of June 30, 2011).
Since the municipal reorganization of Portugal on September 29, 2013, it has been part of the newly created municipality União das Freguesias de Gondomar (São Cosme), Valbom e Jovim , which also includes the former municipalities of São Cosme and Valbom .
