The building with the postal address Fährstraße 22 is a listed building on Fährstraße in Stralsund .

The rendered, three-storey and five-axis , gable permanent home is in essence medieval and has been modified several times, so in the years 1796 and 1848. Only the cellars and the facade are preserved. The stucco decoration was removed in 1960, and the facade has been kept very simple since then: plaster grooves can be seen on the ground floor, the central axis is slightly protruding on the two upper floors. The building is crowned by a triangular gable with a triangular end over the main cornice .

When the building was rebuilt in 1998, the facade was renovated.

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the “ historic old towns of Stralsund and Wismar ”. It is entered with the number 173 in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund .
