Fédération Internationale de la Presse Cinématographique
The Fédération Internationale de la Presse Cinématographique (FIPRESCI) is an international association of film critics and film journalists based in Brussels . The organization was founded on June 6, 1930 on the initiative of Belgian and French film critics. Isabelle Danel is the president.

Its statutory purpose is to promote and further develop film culture and to represent the professional interests of its members. In particular, this means, among other things, campaigning for the freedom and ethical standards of film journalism.
Members are national film critics and film journalists associations. In the German-speaking area, these are the Association of German Film Critics , the Association of Austrian Film Critics and the Swiss Association of Film Journalists . If there are no corresponding associations in individual countries, individual membership is also possible.
