The French Ice Sports Federation today organizes national games and national teams in the following sports:

Until 2006, French ice hockey was also organized in the Fédération française des sports de glace. The French Ice Sports Federation was one of five founding members of the International Ice Hockey Federation IIHF and has been a member of the organization since 1908. As part of the World Cup of Division I in Amiens , the independent Fédération française de hockey sur glace was founded on April 29, 2006 , which replaced the national ice sports association as the French representative in the IIHF and is now supposed to take care of the development of French ice hockey in a more targeted manner.

Since 2020, ice dancer Nathalie Péchalat has held the presidency of the association for the first time.
