Félix Somló
Félix (Bódog) Somló [ ˈfeːliks ˈʃomloː ] (born July 21, 1873 in Pozsony (Pressburg), Austria-Hungary ; † September 28, 1920 in Kolozsvár (Cluj, Kingdom of Romania ) was a Hungarian lawyer .
Somló was a professor at the University of Kolozsvár and, together with Hans Kelsen and Georg Jellinek, belonged to the group of Austrian legal positivists . In the work “Legal Basic Doctrine” (1917), Félix Somló defended the thesis that “it is irrefutably the truth”, that the “legislative bodies can enact any law if they so wish”.
