For you - illustrated weekly newspaper for the woman one in which there was DDR moved women's magazine . The predecessor of Für Dich was the magazine Die Frau von heute , which was discontinued in 1962. The For You was first established in December 1962 as a trial issue. From 1963 onwards it was published regularly by the Berliner Verlag in weekly publication . The first editor-in-chief was Yvonne Freyer . Josefine Edle von Krepl worked as the magazine's fashion editor from 1967 to 1980 . With the issue 24/91 the publication was stopped in June 1991.
As early as August 18, 1946, an eight-page illustrated women's magazine with the name Für Dich appeared in the Soviet zone of occupation with a weekly circulation of 300,000. The editor in charge was Willi Karsch . The last issue appeared on March 26, 1950, after which the newspaper was integrated into the women's illustrated Die Frau von heute .
