description

The Fürstenplatz, designed as a block space, is characterized by its large lawn. The middle turf compartment is accentuated by a stone wall in the middle. Several connecting paths with seating are divided into the lawns. The characterizing lawn area is framed inwards by greenery on the outer gravel paths and shielded from the street surfaces from the outside. At the south-western end of the block area there is a playground that was added in 1949 with an adjacent soccer field. The playground consists of a play combination with slides and climbing opportunities on a laid-out sand area under the existing deciduous trees. There are also two table tennis tables to the side between the gravel path that separates the lawn from the playground and the soccer field.
