Nasarij Orestowytsch Russyn ( Ukrainian Назарій Орестович Русин , scientific. Transliteration Nasarij Orestovyč Rusyn , FIFA spelling of English transcription. Nazariy Orestovych Rusyn * 25. October 1998 in Novoiavorivsk ) is a Ukrainian footballer who at first division club Dynamo Kiev is under contract. The striker has been a Ukrainian U21 international since September 2018 .

Career

Nasarij Russyn, who was born in Novojaworiwsk in western Ukraine, began his football training at FK Lviv and in the summer of 2015 he moved to the Dynamo Kiev youth academy . In November 2017 he was promoted to the first team of the first division club . He made his debut on November 23, 2017 in the 3-2 away defeat by KF Skënderbeu Korça in the UEFA Europa League , when he came on for Tomasz Kędziora in the 71st minute and later scored the final score. This month he played two more competitive games in which he scored one more time and in the remainder of the 2017/18 season he was no longer considered by the professionals. In the next season 2018/19 he was used as a rotation player and scored five goals in 19 league games.

On August 3, 2019, Rusyn moved to league rivals Zorya Luhansk for the entire 2019/20 season . He made his debut on August 8, 2019 in a 1-1 draw against CSKA Sofia in qualifying for the UEFA Europa League , when he was exchanged for Wladlen Yurchenko in the 65th minute of the game . On August 11, 2019 (3rd matchday) he scored his first league goal in a 3-1 away win against Kolos Kowaliwka . In September 2019 he was named Player of the Month for his outstanding performance. After he scored five goals and four assists in 14 league games, Dynamo Kiev called him back early on December 31, 2019. At Dynamo he immediately established himself as a regular player.

National team

In March 2015, Nasarij Russyn completed three international matches for the Ukrainian U17 national team . Between August and December 2015, he played six games for the U18s . In March 2017, he played three international matches for the U19s , in which he scored a goal. He has been a U21 national player since September 2018 .
