Tamás Kádár (born March 14, 1990 in Veszprém ) is a Hungarian football player .

In the summer of 2006, Kádár moved from the U-19 to the professional area of Zalaegerszegi TE FC . He made his debut in the Nemzeti Bajnokság , the first division in Hungary, on November 11, 2006, the 13th matchday. In the 1-1 draw against Dunakanyar Vác FC , he came into the game in the second half.

For the 2008/09 season moved to England to Newcastle United. With Newcastle he was a year later champions in the Football League Championship , the 2nd division in England. In the following season, he was not used in the Premier League . This season, he was first used for the U-21 in the Premier Reserve League . In January 2011, Kádár was loaned to Huddersfield in Football League One , the 3rd division in England.

On August 7, 2012, he moved to Roda Kerkrade in the Netherlands. Kádár played a few games for Roda in the top Dutch division, the Eredivisie . At the end of January 2013 he moved back to his Hungarian homeland on loan to Diósgyőri VTK. After the loan expired in June 2013, he did not return to Kerkrade and was instead permanently signed by Diósgyőri VTK.

After Diósgyőri VTK ended the 2013/14 season in fifth place, they moved on to qualify for the international competition. Cup finalists Újpest Budapest did not receive a license from UEFA. Kádár made his debut in international club football for the first time in the 2014/15 season. In qualifying for the 2014/15 UEFA Europa League , he played in the first round against FC Birkirkara from Malta.

Since January 2015 Kádár has been under contract with Lech Posen in Poland. In his very first season he won the Ekstraklasa with Poznan and was part of the championship team in Poland. He has a valid contract until June 30, 2016 with Lech Posen.

Kádár moved to Dynamo Kiev in February 2017 . The transfer fee was 2.5 million euros. Here he played until February 2020 before moving to Shandong Luneng Taishan in the Chinese Super League in China .

National team

Kádár played games for the U-17, U-19 and U-21 of Hungary . He made his debut for the senior national team on November 17, 2010. In the 2-0 win against Lithuania , he came into the second half for Zsolt Laczkó .

At the European Football Championship in France in 2016 , he was included in Hungary's squad and was in the first two games against Austria and Iceland. Since the team had already qualified for the round of 16, he and three other players who had already received a yellow card were spared in the last group game. In the knockout game against Belgium, he returned to the defensive chain. The result was 0: 4 and Hungary was eliminated.
