FC Knudde
FC Knudde is a Dutch comic series invented by John le Noble , a sports journalist / columnist for the AD , and Toon van Driel . The names of the authors are shown on the front page as Toon & Joop. The comics are about the events of the football club FC Knudde . The main characters are Jaap and Dirk, who get into numerous funny situations. Most of these take place around the soccer field. However, trips to other sports are occasionally made. SV Knudde 88 Giekau was founded on September 17th, 1988. The football club named after the comic series currently plays in the Plön district league in Schleswig-Holstein.
history
Since 1973 the comic has appeared daily in the sports section of AD. The comic only became really popular in September 1975, when it became an integral part of the AVRO television program AVRO's Sportpanorama .
In 1977 the comic also appeared in the weekly magazine Eppo . The albums are published by De Vrijbuiter . At the moment you can read the comic every day in Brabants Dagblad and Limburgs Dagblad .
Since 2008 the comic has been published daily on NUsport (six times a week), the sports page of the NU.nl website .
