The FC Apelles Plauen was a German football club from Plauen , which existed until the 1919th The club only appeared nationally for a short time in Central German football.

In 1905, Apelles Plauen was a founding member of the Plauener Ballspielvereine, along with VFC Plauen .
Subsequently, the Vogtländer acted in the championship of the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs . In the seasons 1908/09 to 1910/11, FC Apelles won the championships of the Gau Vogtland three times, but was replaced from 1912 by local rivals Konkordia Plauen . In the associated qualifications for the Central German Championship, the West Saxony reached the second round (1: 5 against SC Erfurt ) and twice the quarter-finals, in which they won the clearly favored Saxon clubs of the Dresden SC (0: 2) and VfB Leipzig (1 : 3) documents.
In 1919 FC Apelles merged with the Plauener BC 05 to form the Plauener SuBC .
